Did you know - Don’t let 2 missed days define your year! Research shows that most students with just 2 absences in the first month of school go on to miss more than 25 days total. Start the year off strong by making sure students are in school whenever they are not sick.

The youth football camp tonight is from 6:00-7:30.

CIS Families- We regret to inform you that football camp is canceled for tonight due to extreme heat. The safety of our students is our top priority. We will begin camp tomorrow as scheduled. We appreciate your understanding!

The Cardinal Welcome Center will be open today, Sunday, June 30, from 1 to 3 p.m. for anyone in the community needing support after Friday's event. We are here for you!

BVCA Immunizations is partnering with Crete Public Schools to get your child ready for the new school year on Thursday, June 13th, 5-7 PM at the Cardinal Welcome Center.

Cardinal Community Learning Centers - CCLC 📢 Event Update 📢 We have an important update regarding our event this evening. 🍕 The Pizza Picnic at the elementary school will be held as scheduled (likely to be relocated indoors). 🚫 Unfortunately, the Pool Party has been canceled due to the forecast of inclement weather. After consulting with the City of Crete and considering the number of families expected, we decided it is best to err on the side of caution. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

The fifth graders have been learning about Shakespeare and had fun putting on a play!

Today we celebrated the students who passed the ELPA test! Congratulations!

The third graders had a great time participating in the egg drop today! There were a lot of successful inventions!

This is a reminder there is no school tomorrow, Thursday, May 9. We wish our Boys Varsity Soccer Team the best of luck as they compete in the state tournament tomorrow at noon. We will see all our students back at school on Friday, May 10. Go Cards!

Our Boys' Varsity Soccer team is headed to Omaha for the 2024 Boys State Soccer Tournament! This season, the team has showcased tremendous dedication and teamwork. We wish them the best of luck as they compete. Crete Public Schools and our community are special places. Our student, staff, and community support and encouragement for Crete athletics and activities are remarkable. To continue showing your unwavering support, there will be no school for all students on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
