Based on the National Weather Service’s Winter Storm Warning, there is no school or activities tomorrow, Monday, January 8, 2024. The National Weather Service predicts 8-12” of snow, which will begin falling after 8 AM on Monday. Wind gusts of 45 MPH in our area are predicted to begin Monday evening into Tuesday morning. Again, tomorrow, Monday, January 8, 2024, there will be no school or activities for all students. We've been on the lookout today at Crete Elementary because the Grinch has been spotted here! So far he has been nice!
I loved spending time in some of our Elementary Kindergarten classrooms this morning. Learning targets, visual phonics, math, awesome kids & excellent teachers! GoCards!

The Gingerbread Man was in Kindergarten today! The kindergarten classes made gingerbread houses and the Gingerbread man stopped to check them out! The students did a great job of decorating the houses!
Tomorrow is popcorn day! 50 cents per bag!

Why community cafes? It's a great chance to participate in something specifically designed to unite our community. You'll hear new perspectives and discover what we as a community have in common. Join us on Sunday, November 12, from 6-8 PM in the Crete Elementary Cafeteria.
The Crete Trunk or Treat event is moving indoors! Due to the cold and windy weather forecast during the event, we will be inside the Crete High School commons area. We thought this was the best way to keep everyone safe and warm. Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 4-7 PM.
